Well, let see. Acrylic paints, I use the ones from the bottle, "americana" from decoart. I do not add water to the paint, I just moist the brush, and I paint the piece that is already dry, it does stick. For the eyes, you can use markers or acrylics, I use both. When you dye the clay with oil paint, you have to work kind of quick, oil paints have the tendecy to dry the clay. I prefer any pasty paint to dye the clay, for exemplo, paste food coloring. Good luck
thanks for reply..i got it.i am new with CP.i have just done one flower basket and faced some prob.like i colored the basket with acrylic color after it dried up.and the color is not fixed n nt looked nice.can u tell me which color is better n when i color the clay after work or before work.and when i made flower i clored the clay with oil color bt the clay didnt feel smooth like without color.and for doll how i color the body n eyes nose etc r painted by oil colored after complete the work or what??pls help me out...
Thankyou amira. Another help required, do you assemble the flower, let it dry and then paint. OR shape the petals, let them dry paint & then assemble using glue. I am unable to create a lily.
If you send me your email id i can send you the proportions for the human anatomy.
a suggestion you can pick a Barbie doll and then create a kind of a mold out of cold porcelain. Make a block of cold porcelain and take an impression of the Hand and feet. Once it dries and hardens you can use it as a mold. Please varnish it before use and also apply vaseline / petroleum jelly before molding hands.
Thank you Amira. I would be extremely grateful, if you can do the translation as that doll is extremely beautiful. I make clay at home.

Amira.
Just a suggestion. The blue typeface on the burgundy background here makes for difficult reading.
Your little people are delightful.
Have a groovy day

Hi Amira, yes it is a little confusing finding your way around here - start with your page (called "my page") and then connect with a few other members to begin with. Join some groups perhaps? I'll be adding more videos soon to help. regards Diane :-)
Hi Amira, Welcome to art hobby craft. You are in the right place to learn more about cold porcelain, Look for Katy Bucks, she is the expert - I'm still learning :-)
