I do not add water to the paint, I just moist the brush, and I paint the piece that is already dry, it does stick. For the eyes, you can use markers or acrylics, I use both. When you dye the clay with oil paint, you have to work kind of quick, oil paints have the tendecy to dry the clay. I prefer any pasty paint to dye the clay, for exemplo, paste food coloring. a suggestion you can pick a Barbie doll and then create a kind of a mold out of cold porcelain. Make a block of cold porcelain and take an impression of the Hand and feet. Once it dries and hardens you can use it as a mold. Please varnish it before use and also apply vaseline / petroleum jelly before molding hands.

I have triend and it works.
