hi maryam
i have gone through your both quaries.if you want to finish your wood work with with glass like clear finish coat the finished work with epoxy resin mixed with hardner allow to dry for 12 hrs.then again second coat of epoxy.allow to dry in dust free atmospher for another 24 hrs. to dry.do not temped to touch article.u will get shine glass like coated end product.
if u want to mold in resin make a white latex mold of your master bu coating master with several coates of latex.after 24 hrs.remove masrer from the latex formed mold.wash the mold with water.then water mixed with shampoo or liquid soap.dry mold i.e. before removing master from latex make a cover mold by pouring plaster slurry with water.lit harden &dry.this one is a support to ur latex mold preventing from de shaping of latex mould.
once your latex molds are ready put latex mould in cover mold.mix resin with hardner as previously discussed. if your mold is deep enough do not fill the mold over 1/8 inch at a time. after allowing 4-6 hrs.cover it with second pour.continue till finish.allow the whole set up to harden for another 48 hrs to completly dry.then de mould the casting. important thing to remember to coat your latex mould with little liquid wax polish and then with pva solution.let dry and then pour 1st epoxy resin .
regarding rain drops let me have a practical and then expressing the exact idea to you.do not hasitate to ask as many times till u get clear ideas.visit my epoxy resin art album on ahc.

thanks maryam for reply.
if u are working with resin there are problems of air bubble.but i don't get much problems with my projects.i do use epoxy resin and hardner.i mix resin n hardner as per manufacturer's recommandetions. mix both liquids slowly with craft stick for at least 2 minutes.leave this for 5-10 minutes.pour slowly in mould. after pouring complete batch watch if there are little bubbles just blow it with cold drink straw.or just blow with hair dryer.hope there will be no problems.little practice will make you perfect.most important is what type of resin you are using.is it a clear cast polyster resin,1:1polyurathene or epoxy resin with hardner.pl.let me know.hope you will find this suitable
