Several various art/craft awards/prizes have been bestowed on me. Currently I have been very involved in Ceramics/Pottery and my latest venture...Clay Flowers. I have a small studio in my home 'STUDIO VII' Decorative & Fired Arts and teach ceramics and clay flower making. Am hopeing to get a website up and running soon.
I joined Art hobby to:
learn a new craft, share techniques and advice, connect with others, gain marketing tips
I would also like to learn how to :

Dear Ron,
your ceramics are amazing. I've never had hands on pottery or ceramic but i know making a shoe with that kind of delicacy can not be easy. due to the kids sickness I can not write more but I like all your works. Hope wherever you are and whatever you make, you'd be quite successful in that.
Yes I heard about that fire and hoping that everything is now well. I am sure your silk painting will appear as beautiful as your clay creations, Thanks for your compliment.
Would you like to join my network, I always love to interact with artistic people. http://artcraftscreations.ning.com/
Thanks for accepting me as a friend.Congratulations for the many awards U have received due to your hardwork. Everything looks so great. Looking at all the beautiful creations looking so great I feel
tempted to try CP.
Thank you for the kind comments regarding my deco clay flowers. I must say that I really admire your work. I have not tried the luna or daisey clay. Do they differ much from the deco clay? I will have to try them. I really love anything made in clay
Love the new additions!!!!! Hey. Sorry it took sooooooo long to respond to your comments. Had my nose to the grindstone if you know what I mean. UGH. Can't believe it's 2010 alrady. LOL
Yep, it sounds like we have both experiencxed the same things in the world of art. LOL
I am trying to get Easter creations ready and submit halloween things for Doll Quarterly. I hope I make the deadline for March. We'll see. LOL
By the way that pic you see on my page is actually my mother when she was a little girl. Grins. I put it on there because she has such a joyful smile and I wanted to use it on my logos.
Someday I'll put a pic of me on there when I've got some time to kill. Hmmmmm I wonder when that will be. LOL
What are you doing? Have you opened the studio for teaching yet? If so, how is that going?
Thank you Ron.
I will place your 'how to' in my book of things to do.
The new inventions for working with fabrics is quite amazing and the quilters and machine artists must be having a ball.
I have had my Bernina sewing machine for maybe 30 years, after having one with all the bells and whistles, traded down to a basic machine. I wanted to try Free hand machine embroidery but didn't think I could drop the feeder. Durrrr!! If all else fails read the manual!!!!!. It is quite a long story so wont go any further with that.
I find you such a creative soul and you obviously enjoy what you are doing as it shows in the results. An inspiration to others.
Have a happy day.
Hugs
Katy
